相生橋 Aioi Bridge
Aioi bridge is at the north side of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. This bridge is of a very unusual T form: from the centre part of one bridge, another bridge is built. It is said that it was the target for the bombing due to its shape very visible from the sky.
It was restored after the war, but due to deterioration a new bridge had to be built over it in 1983. A main pillar leaving a trace of the bombing is stored in an edge of the bridge. In addition, one copy of a girder blasted by the bomb is exhibited in the Peace Memorial Museum.

HIROSHIMA ELECTRIC RAILWAY, Hiroden (streetcar)
The streetcar "Hiroden" is useful and cheap transportation in Hiroshima-city. They have eight routes in Hiroshima-city and only Miyajima line route goes out of city. The history of Hiroden is old and it has ever been the means of transportations for Hiroshima citizens for a hundred year, and the first transportation which started to run just after bombed from Atomic Bomb was Hiroden. Even now two bombed streetcar carriages run in the city.
Model 700 Hiroden built in 1982
This original model of Hiroshima Electric Railway Co,Ltd was produced in 1982, 24 years after they had done it last time. Around 7th of July every year, kindergarten children decorate inside the streetcars for Star festival.
